Oriental costuming of the 20th century to the present in Michigan, Seattle,
Washington and Jeckyl Island, Georgia for Oasis Dance Camps. 2002: Presented talk on adapting the presentation of Oriental Dance for the stage "From the Caberet
to the Theater Stage " in Traverse City, Michigan.
1999: Lectured
on "Folkloric Dances of North Africa and the Middle East" in
Buffalo, NY. 1997: Delivered the paper, "Keeping the
Dance Oriental As We Direct Our Art Form Into the Next Millennium,"
at the International Conference on Middle Eastern Dance, Orange Coast College,
Costa Mesa, CA. 1997: Gave
slide presentation and narrative, "Visions of the Orient," on
Oriental costuming of the 20th century in Providence, RI. 1996: Gave
lecture on The Mature Woman in Oriental Dance in Columbus,
Ohio in 1996, which was later published by Arabesque Magazine. Dance
